IRS Whistleblower Receives $11.9M Award

An anonymous IRS whistleblower received a $11.9 million IRS whistleblower award for information provided confidentially through their whistleblower law firm.  The information provided by this whistleblower led to the initiation of legal action against a major Fortune 500 company and as a result, the IRS managed to recover a $55 million, which encompassed taxes, penalties, and interest.
