Zijian “Coco” Guan, is a hard-working litigator who enjoys fighting hard for her clients with aggressive and passionate representation. Ms. Guan primarily works on class and collective actions and mass torts. She is currently in charge of the firm’s mass tort litigation team, which includes but not limited to: Zantac, Roundup, birth control pills/devices, Talcum Powder, Hernia Mesh, CPAP machines, Benzene exposure, and Camp Lejeune Water Contamination.
Ms. Guan graduated magna cum laude from the Master of Laws program at Fordham University School of Law.
In her legal practice, Ms. Guan focuses on class actions, mass torts, and employment law matters. A few representative matters include (1) representation of Plaintiffs who sustained blood clots (i.e., deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism) as a result of using birth control pills Yaz, Yasmin, Gianvi, Ocella, and Nuvaring; (2) representation of Plaintiffs who suffered different types of cancers as a result of taking the heart burn medication Zantac; (3) representation of Plaintiffs who suffered Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma from exposure to the herbicide Roundup; (4) representation of Plaintiffs who suffered bowel obstruction and extensive adhesion from hernia mesh products; (5) representation of Plaintiffs who were employed as Customer Service Representatives in wage and hour individual and class actions for unpaid overtime compensation, and; (6) representation of Plaintiffs who were discriminated by former employers based on race.
